Rabbits

£10 per night (£12 for 2 pets sharing)

Guinea Pigs

£8 per night (£10 for 2 pets sharing)

Gerbils, Rats, Hamsters, Mice & Tortoises

£6 per night (£8 for 2 pets sharing)

Booking and payment

What pets do you provide boarding for?

Can provide boarding for cats and small pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, rats and tortoises. For other pets inquiries please send us an email to: hello@lovipethotel.co.uk

How do I check availability?

Please send us a booking request, we aim to confirm availability in 24 hours. Click here.

Do you offer discounts for multiple pets or long-term stays?

Yes, boarding pets (one type) from the same household will automatically apply discounts. Please refer to out fee guide here [link]. There is also a 10% discount applied for stays over 14 days.

When do I need to pay for my booking?

We require 50% payment upon confirmation of the booking and 50% before the check in.

Do I get a refund if I cancel my booking?

Due to small capacity the deposit is non-refundable. In some circumstances e.g., more than 4 weeks before the booked date we may be able to approve the refund case to case basis.

Pre-booking: health, medication, and treatment

What are required vaccinations and treatments my pet should have?

We require that rabbits have up to date myxomatosis/RHD1 as standard. Due to the spread of RHD2 variant in the UK we also require that all rabbits also receive a separate dose against this virus. As it takes some time to build immunity the latest dose of the vaccine should be given at least 2 weeks prior to start of the stay.

Can you board intact rabbits?

The simple answer is no. We believe that bunnies require medical care like dogs and cats and spaying/neutering is essential for giving your pet rabbit a happy and healthy life.

Can you care for small pets with long term health conditions?

Yes, we can administer a vet prescribed medications. We will ask that you provide enough medication for your pet’s entire stay.

Are there any health conditions that you won’t care for?

We will not check-in any pet with contiguous/infectious condition. We also reserve the right to decline admission of a pet with any unexplained symptoms of communicable disease or parasitic infestation.

Stay

What shall I bring with me for my pet’s stay?

Depending on the pet we ask you to bring:

Cage (rats, hamsters, mice, gerbils)
Their usual food (we supply fresh hey and veggies)
Usual bedding
All their favourite toys
